Who this policy covers
Joy Garden Kids (Joy Garden, “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website. This policy explains how we handle information received through the website, related inquiries, waitlist requests, and applications. Information collected later for enrollment, childcare, or employment may be subject to additional notices and recordkeeping requirements.
Information you provide
- Contact inquiries: your name, email address, optional phone number, message, and permission to contact you.
- Our website waitlist form: a parent or guardian’s name, email address, phone number, the child’s age group, an optional preferred start date, optional notes, and permission to contact you. This form does not request a child’s name or birth date.
- Our website careers form: your full name, email address, phone number, role of interest, description of your experience, availability, optional earliest start date, and permission to contact you about your application and potential career opportunities. The form does not accept résumé or document uploads.
- Follow-up communications: information you share when you email, call, or otherwise communicate with our team about your request.
Waitlist requests and career applications include a submission reference and a record of contact permission. Email services also record delivery information such as sending times. Contact inquiries stored through the website, when that feature is enabled, also have timestamps and staff follow-up status. Please share only what we need at the inquiry stage. Do not send Social Security numbers, payment details, or medical records through these general forms.
Technical information and cookies
When you visit, the services that deliver and protect the website may process technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and access times. Our form security measures use records derived from your IP address and email to limit spam, and submission identifiers to help prevent duplicates.
The website does not include advertising pixels or audience analytics tools. Our public website forms do not set cookies, while staff sign-in uses authentication cookies. Our Cookies & notices page explains those distinctions and your browser controls.
How we use information
We use information received through these features to:
- Respond to your questions and communicate about your request.
- Manage waitlist interest, discuss care needs and availability, and coordinate possible next steps.
- Review employment inquiries and applications.
- Keep track of submissions and contact permissions, protect the website, and troubleshoot delivery problems.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and address legitimate disputes or security concerns.
The contact permission on our website forms relates to your request; it is not a general marketing subscription.
Who receives information
Authorized Joy Garden staff may access submissions to handle your request. We also use service providers for website hosting, storage, authentication, forms, and email delivery:
- Resend processes the complete contents of new waitlist requests and career applications, including optional notes, experience, availability, and contact permission, to email them to our team. These submissions are not saved in the website’s database. Their contents and delivery information may be retained in provider logs and our team’s email accounts. See Resend’s Privacy Policy.
- Supabase, when configured, supports staff account authentication, website content management, and storage of general contact inquiries. It may also retain records from earlier website forms. New waitlist requests and career applications use the email process described above. General contact inquiries may also be emailed through Resend when notifications are enabled.
- Earlier Google Forms submissions: our current waitlist and careers pages do not embed or direct submissions to Google Forms. If you used an earlier form, those records may still be held in Google’s service and the form owner’s accounts. They are not automatically imported into the new forms. Google’s own processing is described in its Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, or as reasonably necessary to address fraud, safety, security, or the rights of people involved. A link to an external service does not mean this policy governs that service’s independent practices.
Retention and security
How long information is kept depends on the type of record, whether an inquiry or application is still active, any later enrollment or employment relationship, and applicable legal or recordkeeping needs. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule for emailed waitlist requests or career applications. Closing an inquiry or withdrawing interest does not automatically erase the original submission, related emails, or provider records. You may contact us to ask about retention or request deletion.
Replacing the earlier forms does not automatically import or delete records already held in a website database, Google Forms, or email accounts. Provider logs and backups may have their own retention periods.
Website administration and database records are restricted to authorized staff accounts; emailed submissions are handled through our team’s mailbox. We use service providers to support the site’s security and operation, but no online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may choose not to submit a form or omit optional fields. You can contact us using the details below to correct information, withdraw waitlist interest, ask us to stop following up, or request access to or deletion of information you supplied. We may need to verify your identity or your authority to act for a child before handling a request.
We will consider requests in accordance with applicable law. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or an ongoing matter. Asking us to stop follow-up does not itself delete existing records. If your request concerns an earlier Google Form, Google account information, or a provider’s independent processing, you may also need to use that provider’s privacy controls. These options do not limit any rights available to you under applicable law.
Children and family information
This website is intended for adults, not for children to use on their own. A parent, guardian, or authorized adult should complete forms concerning a child. Information an adult provides about a child, such as an age group or care needs, is handled as described in this policy. If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly without appropriate adult involvement, please contact us so we can review the situation and address the information.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when the website or our information practices change. The date above shows its latest revision. Where applicable law requires additional notice or permission for a change, we will provide it. Please contact us if you have questions about this policy or a particular submission.
